Also, he received a doctorate in 2011 in Power Electronics and Automation from Paulista State University (UNESP). He is currently an associate professor and researcher at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). Among the main areas of expertise are: Power Electronics, Control Systems, Applied Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Renewable Generation and Micro-grids.

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Sao Paulo State University (UNESP), Ilha Solteira campus (2005), and earned his Master’s (2008) and Ph.D. (2013) in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Electronics Automation. Since 2016, he has been a professor in the Electrical Engineering program at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), Campo Grande-MS, Brazil, affiliated with the Artificial Intelligence, Power Electronics, and Digital Electronics Laboratory (BATLAB). He is a permanent professor in the UFMS Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering.
